StartMo is building a mobility company on a single correction: the driver should end up owning the vehicle. Rides and deliveries generate the earnings. A fixed share of those earnings clears the vehicle balance. At the end of the term, the papers change hands.
We are pre-launch. There is no app and no fleet on the road. What exists is a defined model, a first city, and a register of the people who want to be first through the door.
A driver who rents his vehicle pays every week for as long as he works. He carries the risk of a bad week, the cost of a slow month and the blame for a scratch, and after three years of that he owns exactly what he started with. Nothing.
The vehicle is the only asset in the arrangement, and it belongs to someone else. That is the reason a driver switches platforms for a marginally better rate, treats the car as somebody else's problem, and leaves the industry the moment a steadier job appears.
Change who owns the car at the end and every one of those behaviours changes with it. That is the whole idea, and everything else on this page exists to make it work commercially.
Finance is the product. Rides and delivery are how the vehicle earns enough to pay for itself. Neither side works without the other.
Payment towards the vehicle, not for it.
A fixed term, a weekly figure drawn from what the driver earns, and a balance that reduces every week rather than resetting. Registration transfers on the final payment. Rates and term lengths are still being set with our finance partners, and they will be published here in full before a single driver signs anything.
The fare is agreed before the trip starts.
Riders book, see the price, and pay it. No negotiation at the destination and no surprise at the end of the ride. Every driver and every vehicle on the platform is one we have verified ourselves, because we financed it.
The same fleet, working the quiet hours.
Passenger demand concentrates in the morning and the evening and thins out in between. Parcel and business delivery fills those hours, which is what lifts a driver's weekly earnings far enough to make the finance repayment comfortable rather than tight.
Most companies at this stage present themselves as further along than they are. Here is the real position, and this section will be updated as it changes.

The full repayment schedule, the term length, the consequences of a missed week and the transfer conditions will be published on this site and handed over before signature. No verbal arrangements.
Servicing, insurance and tracking sit with StartMo for the length of the term. A driver's mechanical failure should not become his financial failure.
We are not collecting deposits, registration fees or applications from anyone. If someone approaches you asking for payment in our name, it is not us, and we would like to hear about it.
